Special Needs bed.
Hard Mfg Stockton Youth Bed for patients with limited mobility.
RECOMMENDED PATIENT PROFILE:
CHILD UP TO 150 LBS NOT AT RISK TO CLIMB OVER SIDE RAILS.
This is a well designed and manufactured special needs bed that was used for our son in our home. The bed was
new in 12/2020
but not used until 1/2021 and then used for about 6 months. It is in like new condition.
It is a sturdy bed as it is mostly metal construction. It is currently setup as seen in the pictures. For transportation the two ends come off (maybe 35-45#s each), the side rails come off (12-17#s each), the mattress and pads off, the adjustable mattress frame comes off (about 55#s), leaving the bottom frame with motors (about 85#s). There are 4 wheels on the bottom frame. The bump pads, designed for this bed and made by Hard Mfg, were new with the bed. Only the sides were used. The ends are new and unused.

2 – The bed at highest setting
3&4 – Head and knees adjusted to max up settings
5 – Side rail down (both rails are adjustable)
6 – Side rail up
7 – Control panel on the foot end of the bed
8 – Ends and Sides removed, bed down, view of actuators.
The bed is 33″ wide when the ends are off and can roll through a standard 36″ door this way.
This eliminates the need to remove the mattress support from the lower bed frame.
I don’t know how to ship something this size or weight so it is local pickup only.  If you want to arrange for someone to pick it up and ship it for you that might work too.
